Our Safe Driver in Dubai

A safe driver costs AED 80 per trip on weekdays (Sunday to Thursday) and AED 100 on Friday and Saturday. That is one price for the whole car, agreed before the driver sets off, and it covers trips of up to 35 km inside city limits. Longer trips and a handful of outlying locations — Mirdif, Rashidiya, Al Warqa, Damac Hills 2, Palm Jebel Ali, Jebel Ali, Dubai Parks and the Sevens Stadium — are quoted separately. By the hour it is AED 40 with a three-hour minimum. Every rate is on our pricing page.

A safe driver is a licensed, background-checked driver who comes to you and drives your own car — you keep your keys, your car and your parking space. It is the service people use after a night out, when a licence has expired, or when a drive is simply not worth their time. We never supply a vehicle; the car is always yours.

We drive your car. A driver arrives at your pickup point, takes the wheel of your vehicle and drives you where you are going. Your car stays with you the whole way and is parked exactly where you need it. If you need a car and a driver, that is a rental with chauffeur and a different kind of company.

If the damage is our driver’s fault, we take responsibility for putting it right and handle the repair — you are not left arguing with anyone. Every driver is background-checked, employed by us rather than picked up gig-style, and averages over five years behind the wheel professionally. Separately, your own comprehensive policy continues to cover the vehicle throughout, as a UAE motor policy covers the car rather than one named person. We do not sell insurance ourselves.

Cancel free of charge up to 30 minutes before your pickup time — just message us on WhatsApp. Inside that last half hour a AED 50 fee applies, because a driver has usually already set off towards you. And if you are simply running behind on the day, your driver waits 15 minutes at no charge; after that, waiting is billed at the AED 40 hourly rate, pro-rata.

After the trip, never before. We take cash, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay — tell us which you prefer when you book. Nothing is charged when you message us, and nothing is charged if you decide not to go ahead once you have seen the price.

Usually 30–45 minutes across most of Dubai, 24 hours a day. Send your pickup point and time on WhatsApp and we reply with a real ETA before you commit — there is no app to download and no account to create. Bookings made ahead of time are held for the slot you choose.

Yes, as one-way runs out of Dubai — we don't operate inside the other emirates. Sharjah AED 180, Ajman AED 220, Ras Al Khaimah AED 300, and Abu Dhabi AED 350, each a set price for the route. Inside Dubai a trip is AED 80 on weekdays and AED 100 on Friday and Saturday.

We still handle it. An expired registration means the car cannot legally be driven on the road, so we arrange a recovery truck to move it to the RTA testing centre and back — the recovery is charged on top of the AED 100 inspection run. See our RTA inspection service for how the whole process works.
